About Album: Delving deep into the Dutch beat landscape, we keep the momentum flowing here, with yet another stunner of a release from an artist who goes by the name of Beatsofreen. Hailing from Utrecht, he was brought to our attention by Evil Needle, and we are glad that the connection led to this Ep. ‘Coloured Dreams‘ display the many sides of Beatsofreen, as he moves effortlessly from more traditional Dilla-esque beats to experimental forms like the intro track ‘Behind Us.’ His ability to subtly blend different instrumentations, while keeping the entire structure intact is really what caught our ears.
