About Dandy Teru: Born in 1984 in south France. Former dancer, producing music since 2006. Was part of Supafuh’s ViBe League crew. Fund BCR-Music label in 2009, releasing first Pumpkin’s AINSI DE SUITE EP (eponym track produced by Teru), 3 Supafuh’s EP&LPs, on wax, and a lot of digital music from a small but solid team. Released WONDERLAND EP under Massive Suits Quartet alias in 2011. Shut BCR-Music label down early in 2012. Part of the Laid Back radio team since 2011, and host a monthly show calledFRENCH TOAST since September 2011 with Quiet Dawn. Part of 2012 edition of DO THE DILLA compilation by Food For Ya Soul. Part of 2012 first volume of TEMPO DREAMS compilation by Tall Black Guy &Bastard Jazz Records. Signed on Ubiquity Records (California – USA) late in 2012, where he will release his ADVENTURES LP and a couple of singles. Working for labels and artists, as producer, adviser, artistic director, and still as a man in the shadows. About this album: In 2011 Baltimore emcee Substantial was facing the possibility of cancer. He ended up having preventive surgery and while laid up, decided to start working on a tribute album to Jill Scott, one of his biggest influences. It was his was of staying busy while healing, and at the same time to give people their roses while they could still smell them. The result is a free project Substantial calls “Jackin’ Jill” – a tribute project from built by “Jackin” music from various Jill Scott releases. This collection of reworks and remixes of her work blended by DJ Jav form a cohesive pseudo collaboration focused on life, love & music. Even the cover art was a labor of love, hand drawn by Substantial himself.

About The Procussions: The Procussions are an American hip hop group, consisting of two members: Mr. J. Medeiros and Stro Elliot. The group got its start in 1998 in their hometown of Colorado Springs, Colorado but released their first record in 2003 in Los Angeles,California. Originally, there were four members, Qq (pronounced “Q”), became inactive after being diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 2000, and Rez, who left the group in 2006. The group went on hiatus in late 2007, as Mr. J. Medeiros and Stro Elliot pursued solo careers and in 2011 announced they have regrouped to record a third album. The Procussions are now Mr. J. Q: For me, my dreams of being an emcee started in the bathroom mirror holding a hair brush and rapping along with my favorite emcees as a kid. Where did it all begin for you? this journey in Hip Hop that you have been on for so long?

About Yucca Rose: A jazz vocalist, contemporary painter and theatrical actress from Jakarta, Indonesia. Yukke Roswenda Rose, better known as Yucca Rose, is a leading Indonesian jazz vocalist and well respected contemporary painter from Malang in East Java, where she was born on June 21st, 1979. To further her musical career, she moved to Jakarta to study at Elfa Music Studio and Institut Music Daya Indonesia. Over the last eight years, she performed with a wide variety of jazz bands and musicians, and recorded two albums with her Jakarta based band “Major Seventh” (published by Disc Tarra Indonesia).
