About Oddisee: http://www.oddiseemusic.com/
About The Beauty in All: Is about the flaws & mistakes that give life its character and worth – how even ignorance can give light to knowledge. For me, not knowing how to do something & still trying is a process that helped my production style evolve. If everything we are is out in perfect tutorials, we might never deviate from the teacher. This record is dedicated to imperfection and the sense of pride & accomplishment we get from our struggles. Hopefully, you listen to this record, reflect on the ups & downs of life, and see the beauty in all.”
About Tangible Dream Mixtape: I live in a gentrified part of Brooklyn, I eat out several times a week, I travel the world sampling the best that cities across the globe have to offer. Do I live in a penthouse loft? Am I dinning in five stars restaurants? Can you only find me in the most exclusive areas? Do I own a jet? The answer to all the above is most certainly no. I’m just a regular man from Prince George’s county, Maryland that figured shit out. I discovered that I can make a career in an arena dominated by artists that sell false dreams. I realized that although the masses may not know of my body of work, it doesn’t take the whole world to have the world I want. Tangible Dream is a mix-tape dedicated to the deconstruction of our traditional ideas of success & shedding light on the possibility of a sustainable rap life. These rhymes were written in economy class seats, these beats were produced on long bus trips & these songs were recorded in airbnb apartments. All I want to do is make music for a living so that I can live to make music. The only dreams I’m interested in are the ones I can grasp. It just so happens that anything you want bad enough can be obtained. Perhaps the world may never know of my accomplishments but accomplishments they are nonetheless.

You can do it all with soundy beats
About Album: 14KT laces together 14 instrumentals + 1 song with an incomparable ear for flipping samples, and his signature boom-bap, off-kilter drum programming and spacey synths. Then he enlists a handful of his favorite artists for a vocal encore (including Blu, Black Milk and MED) + appearances by Detroit’s own JMSN on the summer cruiser Slo Swerve (also featuring Jamall Bufford) and Cali’s Kokane (along with MED) on the new west coast anthem “W.C.E.F.” 14KT even steps up to the microphone himself on “Five & Ten” to paint a picture of his take on the phrase, “nickel and dimed.”
From 14KT: I personally want to say THANK YOU to all of the countless individuals who recognize, utilize, and give their GOD-given talents, purposes, skills, and wisdom EVERYDAY, so individuals such as myself, can continue to dream, create, and progress

Splendid sounds ^^
About Album: Hometown Foreigner represents the ideology of being “so close, yet so far” & the feeling of “not quite fitting in” though you’re not a stranger. As a man and an artist my more recent experiences have been living slightly on the outside of things. We all have areas in our lives where we feel this way. That’s the Hometown Foreigner.”

~When you have trouble~Just remember~Beauty of Life
About this album: In 2011 Baltimore emcee Substantial was facing the possibility of cancer. He ended up having preventive surgery and while laid up, decided to start working on a tribute album to Jill Scott, one of his biggest influences. It was his was of staying busy while healing, and at the same time to give people their roses while they could still smell them. The result is a free project Substantial calls “Jackin’ Jill” – a tribute project from built by “Jackin” music from various Jill Scott releases. This collection of reworks and remixes of her work blended by DJ Jav form a cohesive pseudo collaboration focused on life, love & music. Even the cover art was a labor of love, hand drawn by Substantial himself.
